I stopped in with a client for some dinner. He recommended the grilled oysters. They were very good. Sprinkled with melted cheese. The shrimp cocktail was very good as well. Service was very prompt and friendly.

Jimmy G's is definitely worth a visit. The chalk-board by the entrance lists all today's fresh fish, already helping to whittle down the choices on the extensive menu. I last visited this place 2 years ago, and i've been dreaming of the etouffee sauce ever since... and i wasn't disappointed on my return visit! The standard of the food more than makes up for the old-fashioned interior decor and furniture. The staff were good, not too pushy, and the bottled beer list had some unusual (and excellent) local offerings.

If you are into Cajun taste, this is your place. The meat and fish is flown in fresh every day. The Party Shrimp isn't on the menu, but it is a must try. Flavorful, warm on the taste buds and reasonably priced.The blackened Salmon is very good, don't forget to try the oysters on the half shell.I'm just sayin, you can't go wrong if you take the time to stop by and meet the team.

Love grilled oysters? No? Ok, if you have some weird mollusk phobia, Get the grilled shrimp app! DElish! 20 butterflied savory morsels of charred/buttery/garlic that will spoil you forever. Sit at the bar and watch the culinary genius. I had both a dozen grilled oysters And the shrimp...but I felt guilty: no crab had been invited to the seafood smorgasbord. So, ordered the sauté crabmeat. Over-the-top succulent!! Now I need to beach myself and take a nice nap.

Incredible smoked oysters. You must sit at the bar to enjoy the whole experience. Watch them being prepared. If you lucky the chefs will sample you on the grilled shrimp(not on the menu). They are awesome. Highly recommend the seafood gumbo also. Never got past the appetizers with a side of boudin also. Great place!! Wish we had one in Alabama.

I tried the grilled oysters for the first time - I could eat them every day! Food is good and portions are large.

I've had the pound of "party shrimp" (off the menu) as well as the shrimp Caesar salad. I also tried crawfish here for the first time. Can be a bit pricey, but delicious.

Very cozy looking outside, fairly classy looking inside. But quite comfortable. Very pleasing service. Great menu.
