History Established in 1987. The history of Wichita would not be complete without two names, Walter L. Anderson & A. J. "Jimmie" King. Anderson started our nations first hamburger stand "White Castle" in a rented, remodeled street car in Wichita, KS. King purchased the Wichita brand of White Castle in 1938 and changed the name to Kings-X. I love Jimmie's... We(my girls and i) visit as much as possible. It is such a comfortable atmosphere with wonderful grub!!! Yum! �
Always good food & the best wait staff in Wichita at the Rock Rd location
You raised the prices and cut the portions in half. NOT good business. I can understand raising the prices, but when I am paying $9.00 for a Bacon cheeseburger and fries, I expect the burger to be bigger than one you can get at MC Donald's and more that 15 fries on the plate.When the food came out the cheese on the burger wasn't even melted and the burger was barley warm. I'm sorry you feel that you don't receive value at Jimmie's. The truth is, we haven't raised prices in quite some time, we will check into the portions and make sure we get this fixed, the last thing we want is for people to leave without being satisfied with their meal. If you could help me, which location did you dine today?
Always enjoy eating breakfast at Jimmie's. I love the Monte Cristo French toast/omelet mix and hubby loves the garbage pile.
Had breakfast here this morning. Very clean restaurant with great service. Can't wait to go back!
Use to be our favorite but did have a down time management or others but Derby 25 years has all we care for or need so closer and moser!? Cares and Prayers C& P

The three of us enjoyed breakfast at Jimmie's. Eggs were perfectly prepared; pancakes were delicious. I enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. The sausage was a bit spicy and perfectly cooked. We ordered one of there huge cinnamon rolls to share. It was delectable and very similar to the ones my mother used to make. So yummy!!Our waiter, Dillon, was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We will be back!
