What makes it different is the amount, consideration and attention to each part of that recipe. That, and some really great bbq sauce, too. At Jim ‘N Nick’s, we pride ourselves on using the right ingredients, taking our time and honoring the traditions that brought us barbecue.

Traveling through Birmingham and decided to stop at one of our favorite BBQ places. As we walk in with my 1 year old on my hip, the rude hostess tells me "we don't have any high chairs, we only have 4 and they are all in use." No apologies or anything. Seriously Jim N Nicks, you may want to get more high chairs. We had to leave and instead went to Dreamland where we were happily greeted.
Been here for 1:45 minutes and still waiting. No drinks no service!! Will never be back nor will any of our group of 24 people with me. Horrible service.
To go order placed yesterday for pick up at the Greystone location on my way to to Starkville. Been waiting at least 15-20 minutes and 4 people have come and gone with their orders. Hmmm, I don't think they remembered my pick up was between 4:30 and 5. But hey, what's getting on The road 30 minutes later than you planned and driving alone after dark?? No skin off their back� I did get an apology from the sweet server once I brought it to her attention, so all is right with the world...bleh!
Medium-Well? I don't think so. No one would eat their burger after we saw this. $50 �
I have been sitting in the drive through for 45 minutes and I am still not up to the window. I understand being busy, but this is unacceptably slow. The parking lot layout makes it almost impossible to maneuver your way out of the drive through line once you are in it. I'm very disappointed.
Excellent food and great service! Will come again!!
