I hit a deer on November 4 and it has taken nearly 2 months. State Farm low ball the repair estimates. Still have not sent an adjuster for the repair shop supplement request. Lousy insurance company.

State Farm does not work in your best interest. I have been trying for weeks for them to send and appraiser out to the body shop to look at my car and they absolutely refuse! There is a 3600 difference in what the repair shop says needs done and what State Farm is agreeing to pay. All could be fixed by sending an adjuster out there to look at my vehicle instead of relying on pictures. The body shop has the proof! Where do I start. Called State Farm on November 7th 2022 to get a quote on a new car I was going to purchase. About a hour later they called me back with the quote and I said to go ahead and put the new car on the policy started that day since I was going to pick it up the next day November 8th. They charged me when I had cancelled my insurance policy. I received a call two weeks ago from Im assuming the corporate office saying they were issuing a refund. I called the 800 to see the status of that refund and they told me my previous agent noted that there was going to be no refund. I called my previous insurance agent Daniel Kroll and he stated that he would not help me unless I took my 1 star review down. I’ve had the WORST experience dealing with State Farm for an accident in which my parked vehicle was backed into which resulted in damages that made my vehicle unsafe to drive. They have used every excuse in the book to deny giving me a rental, even when my car is in the shop being worked on. I’ve called every day for a week asking them to escalate the issue and review my case considering the fact that my car is still in the shop and still deemed unsafe. I had a pipe burst in my basement that flooded the entire space. I called a plumber I was familiar with who fixed the pipe and recommended a water remediation team to clean up and dry it all out. State Farm wouldn’t come to my home until the dry out was complete stating they could not interfere with a contractor we hired. After the basement was dried out a bill was submitted to State Farm who decided to have a second opinion by their contractor two months later. The staff in the ********** **office have been kind to my family and myself. However when trying to get a simple quote on home owner insurance the amount of questions they asks is frustrating, and aggervating. Why is that the square footage of the home not good enough information for you State Farm. They want to know if I have security alarms on the property. What type of floors in each room. The liaison won’t let you talk to a claims adjuster and they won’t allow you to travel to see one to discuss the quote they have off photos taken from a cell phone versus a certified professional body shop. It’s bad business practice and unethical.
