This past summer JEA came up our street and told us that our power would be out for about 2 hours as they were going to put in new lines and transformer and lights, thank goodness they did because I think it made a difference during the storm, our power flickered couple of times went out for about 20 seconds came back on, when the storm was on our coast it went out and we thought well this is it, I put a ticket in, but 45 min. To an hour our power came back on, it has been on ever since, so thank you JEA for installing new l... read more

Thank you for all the hard work put in to restore services to Jacksonville after Hurricane Matthew. And thank you to the utility companies from other areas and states that came in to help. I have read reviews where people complained because THEIR power wasn't on. What they fail to take into account is that they are not the only ones without power and it takes time to restore and there is a process that you have to go through. I know you have communicated that, but some people just don't get it or they don't care. I wanted to... read more

I'm incredibly impressed and appreciative of JEA's work during this emergency. My power outage was short-lived- I'm amazed at how soon I was back on the grid. Can't say enough good things about the men and women JEA who kept us going during this emergency. THANK YOU!

Thanks JEA for all your round-the-clock efforts in getting power back to our city. Special thanks to the crews from out of state for coming to our aid.... though some may seem to be a lil frustrated (think of those in Haiti with little to no infrastructure); all of us are extremely grateful. Stay safe out there!
