My power went out Sunday evening at 10:30pm. I just got it back in about an hour ago. There were huge trees down across lines and poles down with no lines. Although I was without power for quite some time, today I saw crews working extremity hard repairing broken equipment. Yesterday they were working to get hospitals back up and going. I was very prepared for a power outage so never stressed. I'm just excited I got power as quick as I did. Thank you!

Thank you to the hard working people at JEA. They've been working round the clock first to prepare for the storm and now repairing the damage. Just because you can't see the damage doesn't mean it's not there and to safely make repairs they have to sometimes turn the power off.

I know people every where are frustrated with no power. I was very fortunate last year I never lost power this time I did. I fully expected it to happen this time. Folks it is not JEA's fault that we had a devastating storm. They are working as hard and fast as they can. Trees are huge and have to removed before they can restore power. Keep on working JEA I know you are doing the best you can.

It has been over 48 hours since my power has been out, while meanwhile almost every else around me has gotten power back. Our area, Lakeshore, has been "under assessment" for the entire time.
