Forever Thankful but would be more so whenever they get our little neighborhood. We're always the last on the list. Took 15 days last time. Pure rediculous. A neighbor has 2 disabled children in wheelchairs & use breathing machines. It feels like we don't exist. JEA...COME TURN ON BRIDGEWATER CIR 32207!
During Irma we lost power for approximately 16 hours. A hurricane and we had power back on the same day! We were thrilled and are very grateful for the folks that are not with their families just to make ours more comfortable. Thank you.
Prepared ? I think not. Same as when hurricane Matthew last year. Took them a week to restore power. While my neighbor had her power back on yesterday. I'm sitting here still waiting .......
JEA did the best they could they worked through the night to make sure everyone received there power back in a timely manner. There work is greatly appreciated. No one knows how much work goes into this after a hurricane! Kudos to you. #ThankYouJEA
Thank you to all JEA crew members for working 24hrs a day to restore all the power on our city. I don't have power yet but I know all of you are working non-stop and are probably exhausted. Thank you for all your hard work!
36 hours. I am a patient man but this is ridiculous, going over 36 hours without power when the storm didn't even directly hit us. Wish I had another option for service because I damn sure would use it. There is no urgency to fix our issues either, I know for a fact our region has over 1900 people affected and we all have been given the runaround.
Fantastic work. You all are doing great work with this hurricane power restoration.
During Matthew, me and my neighbor were out of power for 5 days. The entire rest of the neighborhood had electricity. Tonight my entire neighborhood does not have power. We have power lines down and our neighbors started taking the trees away but there is still other trees on the line. JEA said they let their crews know TODAY their was lines down even though all my neighbors have been reporting it many many times. Patience is not my strong virtue.
I know they get a lot of complaints, and I know it is frustrating to be without power, but this was a MONSTER storm. Take a look at the destruction just in Jacksonville, with several of the major hospitals affected. I for one think they have done a great job. We are probably among the lucky ones, we had power back on in less than 24 hours. SO, I am going to give them a thumbs up for their dedication. It is difficult, and frankly quite dangerous, to do what they do.
