JEA is reporting 95% restored power. Sadly, I am not one of them. We have been without power since Sunday, 9/10. I reported it online, via text and finally was able to speak to a live person (in her air conditioned office). She finally gave me a ticket number she said had already been created. However, imagine my concern when she was surprised that a TREE WAS LAYING ON THE POWER LINES. I didn't like it that we were without power for 5 days but understand. I think JEA did a great job of getting some 50,000 people or more a day back on line. Thanks to all the linemen and customer service people for all their hard work
They are an incompetent electric company that has a monopoly of the electicity in Jax. They even went so far as to try to block residents from buying solar panels without their grid being hooked up to it. Terrible terrible company
