bought a highland open range 5th wheel a yr. ago with 2 yr. warrenty... this unit was set up with a washer/dryer prep or so I thought...so I ordered a w/d to be delivered and set up...it was found that the prep was wrong from the factory, so the installer gets the factory on the phone offering very little help for problem....the factory screw up cost me 1100.00 dollars with no return explanation or refund for their mess they put me thru.....also they want me to pay for the safety recall for the overhead lights! We purchase our 2015 Autumn Ridge in May of 2016. We first noticed that the plywood was not recessed on the slid outs and that when it rained the plywood floor would soak up all the water under are carpet. We ended up taking it to a dealer for the annual forty five point inspection and told them of the leak and the many other leaks that we were encountering. Can't even begin to explain the frustration and disappointment we are feeling about this manufacturer and our trailer. Purchased our 2016 Open Range 2604RB in June of 2016 and have had NOTHING BUT ISSUES. I've spoke to Eric, the Warranty Supervisor at Highland Ridge twice now and they don't see any reason for concern with all of our troubles. After pulling my camper off of the dealership lot, I had many large bubbles in my flooring. I had to have them cut out and replaced along with replacing the plywood under the bed. While pulling my camper home from getting it fixed, my entire front cap of camper separated from the rest of the camper. Poor craftsmanship on trim work and on cabinet installation. Words cannot express the frustration and disappoint my husband and I have felt since purchasing our Open Range 5th Wheel. Wepurchased a 2018 Autumn Ridge R17 in July 2017 from Camping World in Chichester, NH. While driving home September 17 2017 from our 2nd time using it, the tail light wires caught on fire inside the wall of the unit causing severe fire damage to the interior and exterior, as well as smoke damage to the interior and all our bedding, clothes etc: . We purchased a 2015 Open Range 308 in mid 2014. While I feel the build of the trailer has generally been good, there have been many (too many) issues with the parts on the trailer that have created significant cause for concern and disappointment. I should note that we have used the trailer less than 10 times since purchase. I recently purchased a Starcraft Autumn Ridge 14RB. First thing that happened I noticed how much swaying it did while traveling for such a small travel trailer. I thought air pressure in tires first only to find out a nut was missing and the other two nuts just finger tight on the left side shackle that holds axle to frame.The bolts had worked over half way out. Poor quality, poor customer service. Purchased a new Starcraft AR-One in April of 2016. This RV had continuous problems from the beginning. First trip we noticed the right tail light was not working, we didn't have a turn signal or brake light. We replaced the bulb with no results. Took it in for service and we were told it was a wiring issue in our vehicle. They stated it was repaired and when we arrived home it was not working.
