Words cannot express the frustration and disappoint my husband and I have felt since purchasing our Open Range 5th Wheel. The unit was purchased in 2014, and from the first time we used the unit we have had nothing but issues ranging from a gas leak, a table that was installed so crooked the blind could not be used, a gear box that we had to pay to replace, a door that wasn't working properly, a leak in the bedroom slide, a piece of trim above the closet the broke in half, screens falling out that the technician couldn't eve... read more

Wepurchased a 2018 Autumn Ridge R17 in July 2017 from Camping World in Chichester, NH. While driving home September 17 2017 from our 2nd time using it, the tail light wires caught on fire inside the wall of the unit causing severe fire damage to the interior and exterior, as well as smoke damage to the interior and all our bedding, clothes etc: . We purchased a 2015 Open Range 308 in mid 2014. While I feel the build of the trailer has generally been good, there have been many (too many) issues with the parts on the trailer that have created significant cause for concern and disappointment. I should note that we have used the trailer less than 10 times since purchase. I recently purchased a Starcraft Autumn Ridge 14RB. First thing that happened I noticed how much swaying it did while traveling for such a small travel trailer. I thought air pressure in tires first only to find out a nut was missing and the other two nuts just finger tight on the left side shackle that holds axle to frame.The bolts had worked over half way out. Poor quality, poor customer service. Purchased a new Starcraft AR-One in April of 2016. This RV had continuous problems from the beginning. First trip we noticed the right tail light was not working, we didn't have a turn signal or brake light. We replaced the bulb with no results. Took it in for service and we were told it was a wiring issue in our vehicle. They stated it was repaired and when we arrived home it was not working. Terrible customer service. My starcraft launch had multiple warranty issues including the slide out tearing through the flooring the first month I bought it. It took over a year for the flooring to be ordered and then the warranty person said that it was too late and it was in the dealers hands. Never buy a starcraft!!!!

I bought a 2017 Open Road Roamer. In two months 2 safety recalls. One for a gas valve and a second for lights that get too hot. The problem is simple the trailer 37 ft long is parked permanently in a park because I just too old to pull it. Highland will fix the problem if I take it to the dealer or I have to pay for a service call. Customer Service says too bad take it in or pay. On 3/14/17 our family (four kids 3 - 7 yrs old) bought our 1st large purchase outside of our home. It was also the 1st time that we purchased anything brand new. I had told the kids for the past 3 years that we are going to buy a trailer for fun when we are able to financially. We shopped the (2) open range dealers within 90 miles of our S. CA home. I purchased a new StarCraft AR One in March of last year from Camping World in Meridian Idaho. I had to replace the kitchen faucet before the first outing, since then the radio a Furrion was replaced under warranty, the water heater didn't work, the shower had to be resealed under warranty, and after 3 attempts the refrigerator, a Norcold still does not work, it has been to C.W. 3 times with long wait times to see a technician and 6 weeks time frames for parts.
