Love this salon! – After bouncing from one salon to another, I found Janet Rufin's Parlor on Citysearch and decided to give it a try. I loved the salon from the minute I walked in. The space is so warm and inviting and the staff is very friendly. Janet greeted me and offered a tour of the salon. BEST SALON IN NYC – Way to go Janet! This girl has a natural talent and she knows how to run a business successfully, which can be quite difficult to do here in NYC, trying to please everyone. I loved the haircut! Stayed in shape for 2 months so far! Great service! – I went to Janet Rufin's parlor for the first time a couple months ago. The service was great and I got a cut that I loved. I've already referred a friend there and the cut still feels good after two months. I love the fact that I can choose to either dry it straight or just wash and wear. I would definitely recommend this salon to others!
Best Japanese straightening! – If you want everyday to be "my hair day" without much care, this is the place you should go! I had Japanese hair straightening 6 months ago. Masako did a terrific job, and my hair became so shiny and straight. To my surprise, 6 months after, my hair is still the same - shiny and straight! I cannot even count how many people admired my hair, making my day :-) I am very happy with her work!!
Hair Savior – This place is fantastic! From the interior to the people who work here, there is such warmth in the atmosphere. The last time I went here, Janet cut my hair and I was amazed by her attention to detail. She noticed that my hair was uneven from my last cut (which was overseas) and that my hair was a little weak.
