Loren Rocks- Hair Color that is! – Loren at Janet Rufin is the best colorist in NYC. Not only for her expertise, but her honest advice. Over 8 months ago I booked an appointment with Loren and walked in with a photo of Kate Beckinsale and said ?This color please.? John Gerard: Amazing – I have been to every high end salon in this city and have not been very impressed. I have a trendy job, I live and work in a trendy neigborhood Chelsea. Chelsea Salon with Super Stylists – Janet Rufin's is an unpretentious salon in Chelsea that offers professional services and fantastic stylists. John Gerard has been my #1 stylist for years. He cuts my wild and wavey hair 'just right' and I ALWAYS get compliments....even a month or more after the cut! It's worthy every penny. Also, everyone there is warm and hospitable. Don't hesitate!
Great cut & color – This place is a peaceful hideaway that will fix any hair problem. I've got curly hair that's tough to tame, and have had many a bad haircut over the years. But John works wonders with it. I also go to Loren for highlights, and she's fantastic at getting the color just right. Both are so nice and so good at what they do that I've followed them from their previous salon to this one. It's a little pricey, but absolutely worth it not to have to worry about having a bad hair month.
