My hero! – Janet is amazing!! She brought my hair back from a truly nasty dye job I got at another salon. Even with the extensive work required, the process was extremely gentle of my fragile hair. She gave me the exact shade of red I was trying for. Kevin also did an excellent job. I highly recommend both.

amazing hair color and cuts! – I finally made the move to a salon in NYC after years in Philadelphia with the same colorist and Loren did an amazing job. I absolutley loved the color and the job she did! And John Gerard is fanatastic too!! I definitely reccomend color and cut with the the 2 of them!!!

Japanese Hair Straightening – I understand JR's Parlor is great for cuts and color but I go semi-annually to get my hair straightened by Masako. She is terrific. The first time I went to her she carefully examined my hair, which had been previously straightened in another salon. She showed me that it had been damaged and recommended I wait to have another treatment. Best cut I have had in years – Misako cut my hair and it is the best! Most stylist I went to did the same old thing, but Misako steped it up a notch. I can't wait to try their color.

Jen is the best! – After trying many hair salons both in Hoboken and New york City, I have finally found a home at Janet Rufin's Parlor. Jen is by far the best colorist/stylist I have ever been to and I enjoy her company so much, it feels like I am chatting at lunch with my girlfriends! The atmosphere is very hip (but not too hip) and the service is incredible! I highly suggest making a trip to Janet Rufin's Parlor... and definetly ask for Jen!

A fun relaxed and comfortable place to be shown how to highlight your own personality by caring experts – Mary has made me feel really confident in the whole hair styling process. Since I was a baby I have always hated getting my hair cut, But now that I found Mary at Janet's Parlor I simply relax and sometimes i don't even pay attention to what she is doing I just laugh and walk out of the shop knowing my hair will look great for at least three weeks with almost no thoughts in the morning about it. Great haircut, no anguish! – I went there on impulse on a really bad hair day for a haircut from Janet Rufin. She took the time for a thorough conversation, then totally fixed the shape of my very curly hair while keeping the length I had been happily growing. I still have the length, but the shaping made it look just the way I wanted. I save a lot of anguished time I had been spending to move the shape around every morning! It's a nice, mellow place.

Great service – Have been seeking out my new neighborhood salon and stumbled across Janet Rufin's in an Allure mag review. They have great customer service, flexible to get an appointment, and enjoyed my experience. My color stylist Jennifer was excellent-- definitely would go back.

Best Cut Ever! – I have tried all the "in" places, and ended up with the best at Janet Rufin's. Janet took the time to LISTEN to me, and I ended up with the perfect haircut and color! Now, I am a New Yorker that won't go anywhere else! I am recommending her salon to all my friends!!!!!
