Doctor Schwender very knowledgeable ,personal,and accommodating
Dr Schwender performed my back surgery at L4, S5 in 2022. When I was in recovery, I could not feel my right foot. He did additional surgery and stated I had developed a hematoma. 3 years later and I am still dealing with flop foot. Post appointments were only done at my request. Dr. Schwender performed surgery on my spinal chord eighteen years ago. He did an excellent job. I have Degenerative Disc Disease and I will be calling him next week because I think he needs to do some repairs on another area of my spinal cord.
I have had 2 spinal surgeries with Dr Schwender and each time he has been very professional and caring about my conditions. The first surgery was a resounding success and I’m hopeful that this recent surgery is just as successful. I recommend him highly.
