Dr Schwender has been my spine surgeon over the years. I am readying for my fourth “fix” on my back. I would not trust anyone else. Besides an excellent surgeon he is a kind and thoughtfilled human being. Thanks for all you have done for me!

Dr. Schwender was the 2nd surgeon I visited and I knew almost immediately that he was the right choice. First impressions; everyone was very friendly, organized and the overall office environment was warm. I was directed in for x-rays before the meeting. The first surgeon I visited did not take x-rays. I had my mri but had several questions. The x-rays established that my spondylolothesis was unstable, which is not determined on mri. This was important to know. I was referred to Dr. Schwender due to cervical degeneration from arthritis and spinal cord compression. I was at ease with Dr. Schwender right away. He had a plan to fix my neck, and explained the surgical procedure clearly. He was very knowledgeable. He has a wonderful bedside manner! My surgery went great and I am 100% happy with the job Dr. Schwender did. I highly recommend Dr. Schwender and Twin Cities Spine.
