I truly trust Dr. Schwender. He’s very conscientious, compassionate and explains things very well. I had a difficult time postop and he was very attentive and concerned. His staff was very good as well.
Recheck of a fusion I had in October. Healing well. He recommend MRI for my back spasms.
I have never felt rushed with Dr. Schwender. He has always explained everything well, and has been very helpful. He carefully listened, even though it may have not been explained professionally. If it wouldn't have been for him, I would not be walking now. The pain that I had was greatly diminished with his great care. Life is so much better thanks to Dr. Schwender and his team. Thank You Very Much, your talents do not go unnoticed.

I had a very worthwhile phone visit with Dr. Schwender. It was for the purpose of a second opinion. He had my records and did an outstanding job of reading my history and studying the MRI and other tests. For now, I won’t be having surgery but when and if I do, I will be requesting Dr. Scheender. He did a great job explaining the risks and benefits of different treatment paths to o my specific situation.
I was so pleased to be greeted by a sweet receptionist, very friendly and helpful. The Dr that worked with me and went over my history was so thorough and made sure he had everything ready to go over with Dr Schwender. After meeting with Dr. Schwender and going over my situation and concerns, I was at peace with his concerns and the treatment plan that he presented me. He answered all of my questions and more with compassion. I was so thankful.
I had a ten week post op visit with Dr. Schwender and first best mark was that I was seen right away. He discussed thoroughly how the surgery went and what the results were. We were both very please at the outcome. Dr. Schwender has been my surgeon for 22 years and all my encounters have been very positive and successful. Unfortunately I have had to have many spinal surgeries but I would never had let any other doctor work in my back. I totally trust his ability and ethics. I have recommended him to many people.
