I went to see Dr. Schwender to find out if the numbness in my feet, and tingling in my arms, hands, legs, feet were related to my spine. He went over my entire spinal x-ray and reassured me that was not the cause, and I needed to see a Neurologist. I had surgery by Dr. Schwender in 2016; he is the most wonderful, thorough Surgeon I have ever had the pleasure of using, and interacting with. Dr. Schwender was all ears and understanding and compassionate with my problem. He understood and listened to my concerns and pain and helped to resolve the issue to the point of knowing I was hopefully going to get relief. It's all I needed was an ear and a solution to my problem. Thank you!!
Being an RN for over forty years and seeing six specialty doctors of varying opinions I finally chose Dr Schwender to follow me for a number of years delaying surgery with RFAs as I was not ready. Just had the C4-7 fusion with corporectomy of 6th vertebrae. The tree trunk nerve pain is gone. I hope to be out there camping and fishing with my grandkids next summer and enjoy hiking in AZ this winter. Thank you
