I am being billed $489.90 for a contract I do not want and did not initiate. They want access to my computer to cancel my subscription and get a refund. I did not want to do this, and so, did not. I keep getting emails from them to renew my contract for $449.00. I do not have a contract with them and even though I do not give them any info. the keep up. Can you do anything to stop them?
I just received an email from a ************* ** ***** ****claiming I had signed up for a 5 year renewal five years ago (no) and that they were going to debit my checking account $479.99. I called them at the number they provided for cancellation (***********) and it was an anonymous number. I was then called back from a different number (***********) and the guy on the phone had the audacity to say that I had signed up for it but could not produce a contract with my signature (electronic or otherwise) when I asked for it. 1 star i received and email from "I Yogi Support" thanking me for renewing my subscription on 04/13/22 in the amount of $354.00. This is a total scam . Please do not open your computer to allow them to access your computer I will be checking the credit card to follow up if any payments have gone through . This is a scam !!!!
Today I received an email from iyogi stating that my "subscription" to iyogi pro plus had been successfully renewed and that I would be charged $349.00. I do not recall ever subscribing to iyogi in the first place, and so was surprised to hear this. The email address from which the "order receipt" was sent was a random gmail address, and showed up as "billing department," which immediately made it smell like a scam to me. i received and email from "I Yogi Support" thanking me for renewing my subscription for computer firewall and online network protection and they were deducting $489.90 from my account to renew service. This is a scam. I have no subscription from them. About 10 years ago I trusted them to the point where I sent close to $400 for their computer protection. Ditto! This company is a complete scam. Emailed me a receipt for "renewal" charges they had made towards my bank account for services I never received and based on information they collected from me years ago. They seem to never have anyone on the other end to contact and actually answer any inquiries too.????
