I had paid for Iyogi's service about 2 years ago. They called me 2 days ago to give me a refund of $299.99 because of technical issues on their part. I gave them access to my computer because they said we had to download a refund form. Then I was told that I had to open up my checking account, so they could transfer money to it. Once they did their transfer they had me to verify my account. It showed they transferred $2999.99. They then wanted me to go to a ******** and send them $2600.00 back to them.. These people went out of business if they were ever really one. Now they are trying to scam me out of money and they are harassing me with constant calls, literally every 5 minutes I am getting a call. I have blocked the number but it keeps going to my voice mail.
A computer company called IYOGI keeps harassing me several years ago I signed up and paid them two hundred dollars to monitor my computer and they have done nothing but call me to sell me more things since then without providing any service. This is a review of the most "NEGATIVE" and "FRUSTRATING" experience I have ever encountered. I bought into iYogi services, based on what they described as being the No. 1 technical support company in the world and a highly regarded company with the Better Business Bureau. I have been scammed by Iyogi, Inc. They do not respond by phone which for the most part the phone numbers have been disconnected and/or non-existent. I continue to get daily phone calls from Iyogi, Inc. which come in as an UNKNOWN number, so I usually don't answer as I am certain my initial subscription has run out and they are attempting to scam me again. I've read the various reviews and know I am not the only one who is not satisfied with the Iyogi, Inc technical services. BEWARE !
I WAS A MEMEBER OF IYOGI FOR ABOUT 18 MONTHS, THEN COULDNT REACH THEM BY PHONE. IT LEAD ME TO ANOTHER COMPANY, WHICH I PAID 350..00 ON 1/**/2017. NOW I FIND OUT THEY ARE I YOGI. SO I PAID TWICE FOR SERVICE. I WAS SCAMMED!!!!!!!
Long time member and customer of iYogi however as of late, I've lost faith in them. I'n covered until 2020 for 3 computers for diagnostic/trouble shooting etc. However lately I was contacted by iYogi and was informed that I needed to have several software problems installed to clean up my computer (infected, been hacked etc) and this cost was well over $3000.00 (but for lifetime). I used Iyogi for approx 3 years and feel i paid dearly for the service! However, i felt at the time they were helpful since I'm not that technically smart! In the last few months I had called the 800# I had always called for tech support and was told that Iyogi had filed for bankruptcy & had multiple law suits against the company.
