I want to say how please we were with the maternity ward. Every nurse we had were wonderful. Who went above and beyond. The nurses Natalie and both Kayla were so awesome. Dr Allen was a great OB there. He took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. He never rush me off. He was very patience and nice. Dr Marwan was the one who had to perform my c section. I'm very disappointed in UI West for the care of my 85 year old father who has dementia, fell and broke his hip in a memory care facility, He was admitted to IU West Sunday. The social worker Sarah Courtney seemed to blame the memory care facility for his fall, and blame me for moving him into the memory care facility. Sarah and IU West nurses seemed surprised when my father's dementia became obvious - ripping out his IV, removing bedding & taking off his clothes. I went to IU West OB/GYN for the first 12 weeks of my pregnancy. My experience was so bad I decided to find another provider immediately. Being a new mom I’ve had several questions about pregnancy and life - I could call Monday morning and leave a message, only to hope by Tuesday night they might call back.
