New to the area and visited to establish care with a primary physician. First impression is very positive! This gives me hope that our medical care also improves with our move closer to Indy.
90 minutes to just verify who I am before I'm even seen, and this was on the fly just wanting a 2nd opinion on my hernia, and and omg the amount of "I don't know's" just floored me. So, I left.
I've been here for 5 days an all nurses, staff treated me great, no complaints . Thanks to all nurses that took care of me! If I have to come back IU Health West would be my first place to come back too!

I have been to this hospital numerous times with great results but, what happened to me yesterday was ridiculous. Arrived at ER a little after 2p.m., didn't wait too long in the waiting area and didn't wait terribly long to see the doc. He thought I either had a blood clot or a cyst behind my knee. This is where it gets crazy. The ultrasound technician was on call because it was the 4th of July. No one bothered to call and alert her that she had a patient. Came in because I was worried that I may have scratched my cornea deeply. PA found no scratched. She went to speak to the doctor to see if anything needed to be done. After waiting 45 minutes, I just sign myself out against medical advice. The staff was rude and disrespectful.
