I've gone to this same office since I moved to Ames many years ago. I've always found the staff to be knowledgeable, punctual, friendly and concerned about my dental health. Without hesitation I recommend Ames Family Dental for routine and more complicated procedures.
I had a great experience at Ames Family Dental. It was probably the most thorough cleaning I have ever had. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Having just moved to the area two months ago, we are glad to have found such a great dental practice in town.
I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness, helpfulness of Ames Family Dental staff. I was immediately made to feel welcome and valued as a new patient to their practice. Facilities, expertise, and treatments available were stellar, beyond what I expected to find. And I was gratified to learn I didn’t need the more extensive dental work I was expecting.

This place is absolutely fantastic!! I can’t say enough good things. The whole experience was fabulous from beginning to end. I was greeted by the kindest receptionist named Amy who gave me a tour of the beautiful and clean facility. Kelly was my dental hygienist who was very thorough, sweet, and answered ALL my questions. This week was my first visit to Ames Family Dental as a patient. I particularly enjoyed visiting with Dr. Good, and the two hygenists who worked with me were very pleasant and professional, as well. I came in seeking a second opinion regarding some expensive dental work recommended for me at another practice and was pleased that Dr. Good felt my condition was better than I had been led to believe, and wouldn't require such expensive work. I had read many reviews for Ames Family Dental and thought it would be a good place to try out. I had switched from another dental place in Ames that was simply only meeting minimum standards. I needed to switch and Ames Family Dental had the highest ranking in Ames. I scheduled an appointment with a receptionist that was more than kind and welcoming.
