Business response:
Eric, I apologize you are not satisfied with the service Inspire offers. We did process your rewards card two weeks ago so you should have that in another two weeks. We also discussed a fixed rate option for you to stabilize your bill but you indicated you were not interested. I'm sorry we were not able to meet your expectations.
They came to my door selling clean energy. They said my bill would go down and I would be using clean energy. Now I have a bill for over 500.00. Pepco says that over 300. oo was from this company. Now I am on the phone can cannot get an answer. Do not sign up with these people they rip you off.
Business response:
Hi, Gayani- I understand our Member Experience Manager spoke to you this morning and explained that Inspire is not an extra charge and the $300 is for the supply portion of your bill. We're sorry you decided to end your supply with us, but we do appreciate you supporting clean, renewable energy for the 5 months you were with us.
Just finished my first year term with Inspire and about to renew! Got my cash back too! They are giving me the same rate and keeping everything consistent. Very happy with my clean energy!
Business response:
Hi, Tim- Thanks for the positive review. If you have any questions about your renewal options, including moving to our one of a kind subscription offer, please reach out to our Member Support team. Thanks!
Same story as everyone else. Came to door, promise best rates, and guaranteed lower then my current electric company (ACE). I am in NJ and just got a $733 electric bill. Inspires rate is almost 16 cents while ACE is at 11 cents. I was told they could lock me in for 1 year at about 9 cents. Now I have to decide if i want to stay with them for the year to try and get some of my money back or just dismiss them for scamming. I also want to know how they have a A+ rating when 77% of their reviews are negative? Reading the system ... read more

Dear, Dan- We're sorry we fell short of your expectations. Our Member Experience Manager tried to contact you via phone and email but has not heard back. We would like to hear more about the claims your sales representative made as well as talk to you about options moving forward. Over the life of your account, your average price has been 13c/kWh but I do see your energy usage increased 4x over the last two months causing a very high bill. We have some options that can help you protect you from large usage swings. Again, we ... read more
I been with this company for a year. My electric bill was so high and I called PECO trying to dispute my bill and they told me I was enrolled in a company by the name of Inspire. I recalled last year some time cancelling with this company and didn't realize I was still involved with this company until I received a bill for 454.00 for one month. I want to pay this bill and run as fast as I can from this company. But since I realize they don't end the contract when you ask them I will like something in writing stating I'm out.... read more
Business response:
Hi, Gerri- Thank you for taking time to review Inspire. We're sorry our fixed-rate plan did not work out for you. It looks like you had a large spike in usage causing your high bill. Our Member Experience Manager spoke to you this morning confirming your service end date with Inspire. We wish you the best and thank you for supporting clean power.
I signed up for Inspire at Essene Market in Philadelphia and was told my rates will be always cheaper or around the same as PECO's. I have paperless billing so I was unaware that although I signed up at a rate of .0879 cent/ kwh in March 2017 my rate went to .11 in April and then .15 in June. The "sales people" who were at Essene Market never said I signed up for a variable rate. I certainly would not have signed up to DOUBLED my bill. I have just switched back to PECO and I am walking over to Essene to tell them about this ... read more

Hi, Julie- We're really sorry for your experience. We would love to talk to you about your sales experience a year ago. Our Member Experience Manager tried to call you twice and sent you an email, so if you would like to discuss your concerns, please return her call or email at your convenience. Thank you.
I went with this company after a door to door person came and told me that I would be saving money. I explained to them that I was not the account holder and they told me that it was still ok. My bill for the month of December 2017 is $500.00. I will be calling to cancel on Monday. The bill tripled over the last couple of months as my pepco bills are not even that high. These people are giving false information and I am thinking about reporting to 7 on your side as a caution to other people. They need to know that this is no... read more

I enrolled to use clean energy with one of the door to door reps and at first i was very skeptical (never knew people still went d2d) but i signed up and went online right after and turns out they are legit. I have had them for 3 months now and everything is good. Go with the fixed rates!!. I live in west penn power area and it was a better deal.
Business response:

They signed me up for variable rate plan; I did not have a clear idea but went along. The two girls that showed up on my door step had almost guaranteed me that my Kwh rate would be lower than the default from PSEG. First month, Inspire Kwh was higher by 6.5% from the default plan of PSEG. For the second moth, things were ridiculous. They charged me 62% (yes 62, not a typo) more than the default plan. When I called them they apologized and gave me partial credit (hopefully, I will get the money). In short, I wasted my time i... read more

Hi, B******- I apologize for your negative experience. As the representative you spoke to advised you, there was an error on your account.
