I signed up for this service without first doing my due diligence and researching what is clearly a company that does not deal above board with customers in any sense. I was approached while grocery shopping and offered a gift card for signing up (a classic sign of a scam, which I was unfortunately naive to), and signed up because I do genuinely care about the environment. Pushy. Dodgey. That was my impression. Told door-to-door salesperson I'd check the company out online. No brochure. No long-term rate information. Kept insisting I give him my electric bill. I kept saying no. I read that some how people were signed up without their permission. This company better hope they have not done that to me because I will file complaints with state consumer protection and PUC.

Total scam. They come to your door stating that they have information from your neighbors that your rates are to high and they want to see your bill. They first try to pretend that they are here to check "your utilities". I told them I was not interested and then they said that it was vital for them to"check things" or some load of BS like that. Worst company to deal with. They almost give you a heart attack with ridiculously high bills and customer service is least bothered to resolve customer concerns. When they Signed me up they were very nice and lied about the electric rate. But then they kept increasing crazy with out ever notifying even by email which is worst. In other words they cheat you using smart tactics. The customer service over phone was not even ready to connect me to a supervisor/manager to resolve the billing issue.

I am so frustrated that I was lied to and harassed into joining Inspire. The sales people didn’t leave when they were supposed to, they lied about the cost, and they wouldn’t leave or let me go inside to do the phone call for signing up. And when the person on the phone asked if they were still here, they told me to lie and say they left, all the while keeping me outside with them telling me what to say, and they even listened to my social security number and wrote everything down that I was saying on the phone while signing... read more

FALSE ADVERTISING! The "flat monthly rate" has risen each and every month causing my electric bill to go up to and beyond an additional $70.00 a month in charges. Would love to have selected a way to help the environment in choosing cleaner energy however being lied to in the process proves this company is a scam and will only clean out your wallet. Do not fall for this like I and many others have!

When you contacted us, we offered you the subscription plan which you declined. I cannot believe this is allowed to have 2 people come to my door when it was freezing outside! I was pressured into falling for their lies! My electric has gone up over 50 bucks! my electric is never over 80 buck whether its summer or winter! This is HUGE *** SCAM! I WILL BE CANCELLING MY SCAM FROM MY PSEG ACCOUNT ASAP! ALL YOUR PEOPLE DID WAS LIE TO ME! Seriously my electric went up over 50 bucks a month! This is a crooked company. Do not sign up under any circumstance. I was charged 3 times more this month than I would have paid PSE&G for the same service. They will not release me from my contract. I did not know that there was a contract. That was never revealed to me. I should have checked them out before I changed services. Do not make the same mistake.

These people came to my house pressured my wife into signing some contract, we sent off a email asap to cancel and rescind this company from being our provider. Please do your research before signing up with any company. If it sound to good to be real it usually is not. They lie at the door and to out faces, shame on these people. I researched their rates and public reviews, all not good.
