I had a sale agent come to my home a couple a months ago , saying my bill would not change . It since that time has gone up and up. This is so wrong . I need to cancel it . We are a family on a budget and was lied to . At our door . If your gonna go around to houses then at least tell people the truth on what you are scamming them into. Your company will not make it on LIES. Please don't come into peoples safe place there home and ask them to sign up for something that is a bad choice for families. At first I was skeptical especially with the scams but I did the switch and I did not see a change in my bill. I get $5 rewards which is pretty exciting!

I was approached by Inspire Energy Company solicitors going house to house attempting to get homeowners to switch to their energy program. I was told that the energy source I was using was fossil fuel based and within 3 months my rate would be increased by 30%. To prevent this from happening it was recommended that I switch to a wind-power based eco-friendly power source which is best for the environment. Continued to come to my house to pressure me to switch, and asked me mislead the phone operator (to tell them that the sales people had left when they had not). Pricing turned out to be WAY more expensive than my existing carrier. Did not present themselves as sales people but rather that they were from my current provider checking to ensure information was correct in my billing. VERY misleading and predatory. AVOID!

I would give zero stars if I could. Misleading, high pressure sales tactics. Outright lies about power rates and that “your bill will not go up.” I was paying nearly 200 dollars more per month once their “introductory offer” expired. I’m an advocate of green power, but I despise shady and misleading tactics. After I switched back to my local company, I’ve been getting calls daily trying to pressure me into switching back to them. Just had incredibly rude inspire energy salesperson at my door in *********Baltimore. Wanted me to go get my energy bill. Could not or would not explain what the service is. Wanted water and to sit and drink it I’m sure because I told him how disrespectful he was. Just awful. At least train and monitor your salespeople.

This is why i don't trust salespeople. They were posted at a grocery store near by and approached me. I usually just walk away but thought this sounded cool. They said it would be ni extra money and nothing official would happen at the time.. I didn't even give the right information... They still tracked down my fathers electric account and then started billing him and extra 20 dollars *19.94... They had none of his information...how did they access his account? I was told my bill would not go up by signing up with Inspire but my bill went up over $100 and now I have to pay an additional $30 cancellation fee that I was never told I would need to do. Absolutely horrible communication from sales reps and completely misleading.

I heard about Inspire from a canvasser who knocked at our door. Usually I would ignore (sorry, just being honest!) but the young man was very knowledgeable. Since then, I love spoken to customer service twice. They were very helpful, friendly, and gave me the exact service needed pertaining to my call. Very happy about that and the fact that we now have clean energy supplying our house.
