WHAT A SCAM!!! I had no idea we were even with this company for 2 years. We couldn't figure out why our electric bills were so high. Finally I received an answer from our utility company that Inspire was charging us at a premium rate. I never even signed up with them! I called customer service and they informed me that someone else signed us up... Someone not even in our house or on our utility bills. We signed up for inspire a year ago. WHAT A MISTAKE! We were told the bill would stay the same and on a fixed rate! Our bill came in and I was floored! Over the last 6 months they increased it double what I was paying duquesne light. Listen people, anyone willing to come to your home to get you to sign up for something is desperate and will tell you anything you want to hear (said a lawyer we spoke to) . A man knocked on our door claiming to be a rep affiliated with our local energy company. Claimed that if we did not switch to this clean energy program, there would be additional charges on our bill. My husband OKed it, and signed up, since I was not at home. I called my electric company to find out that Inspire is a third party and is unaffiliated with our current company. Extremely high-pressure sales tactics and when I showed my bill, the rep automatically entered my information into the system. I called the next morning to cancel and have received a confirmation number for this cancellation only after a great deal of upselling from the person on the line. I refused all upselling and kept telling her I wanted to cancel.

I feel good using clean energy. Inspire representatives were helpful helping me select the best service package to minimize my cost. I don’t think I’n Paying any more than I would for fossil fuels.

I wanted to warm others not to switch to that company which is Inspire Holdings, LLC. This program is for them to take money from people, they don't do anything for you. They hired people to come knock on your door explaining to you the benefits on getting into the program; and it's free. Do not believe them, stay away from that program. Your monthly bills will be increase and the highest portion will be going for them. That's highway robbery.

I had a 19 year old girl knock at my door at 8:30 p.m. to speak with me about Inspire. It was already dark outside and she was walking alone on my block. I questioned her regarding knocking this late and she stated her team was all within a two block radius and that this is within their timeframe of working. I was appalled that a company who claims to be concerned about the environment would not care about the safety of their employees. This is the second time within the past month representatives from Inspire have bothered me at my home posing as some kind of official energy inspectors. They will stand at my door and insist that they're required to check my energy bill to make sure that I'm enrolled in their service, heavily implying that it's illegal for me not to be. I strongly suspect that this company is a scam, especially given what everyone has to say about them in these other comments.
