Hotel was in the heart of Downtown Chicago. Very nice roof top and lobby bar. Room was nice, with a comfortable bed. BUT the carpet was filthy dirty, in lobby, halls and room. That means owners are cheap. First thing you notice at a hotel is clean or dirty carpet and the smell. Also towels were old and its time for new ones.
Its nice To stay here every trip....I do two trips a month rooms are clean Friendly ppl n it's so close to Michigan Ave !
When l read the reviews after l booked l was very nervous about staying here but... of all the places l stayed on my trip around the States in May of this year this was my favorite. I loved the location, it was perfect . My stay was comfortable and relaxing. My room was spotless and l had no trouble with any of the facilities. The staff in the lobby were helpful ,polite and allway happy to help. I have learnt not to pay any attention to disguntled past customers reviews. I will definitely book here on my trip next year. Great location! All the staff was very welcoming, helpful and friendly! The hotel was nice, but nothing special. Just wish there was free drink tickets and breakfast like other hotels in the area.
RUDE. All we did was ask if we could have a late check out and we were treated very rudely.
Room is very small and isnt clean at all. Im looking at the fixtures and the little shelf on the bathroom wall and everything is covered in a layer of dust. Very old looking. Also the bed sinks down.
I got this hotel through Groupon this past weekend and was extremely disappointed. Upon arrival the bathroom tub was full of water due to the stopper being broken. If you're planning on taking a shower you can expect one of two temperatures- 1. Disney on ice. 2. Being burned like a Salem witch. But this was the least of my problems considering on the first night I stayed the bathroom door broke and I was locked in the bathroom for 20 minutes until a guy came and removed the door handle. The only good thing was the location...parking is $46.00 a night and to add insult to injury, they place a $50.00 hold on your debit card upon check in promising it will be released NO MORE THAN FIVE DAYS after you check out! Well, I checked out on Christmas eve and STILL have not received me deposit back AND when I call, that 5 day promise has turned into "well ma'am it can take up to TEN business days" hmmm I find that real funny considering it only took 3 seconds for it to come off of my card...ALSO, the rooms are ABNORMA... read more
Be careful of the hotel Inn of Chicago Magnificent Mile Be careful on your credit cards, they try to cheat you. They will cancel this post, but I will publish the bill, and I'm not speaking about an error but about a fraud on the credit cards. Be careful on what is going on in this hotel! Apart from this, rooms are ugly and bathromm is fully disappointing.
