Can't beat the location for the price. Just a few blocks from the pier and millennium park and tons of restaurants and stores. You can walk anywhere you need to go. 7/11 right across the street if you forget to pack something. Room is small and pretty outdated but thats fine with me. Lobby is very nice and has a bar. Another downside is you have to pay to use the wifi in your room.
The 1 star is ONLY for location and the roof top terrace. Don't leave valuables of any type in your room. It was probably my own fault, but I left my purse in my room for about an hour and a half while I visited another room. I came back to my beds being made and $90 missing from my wallet. Complaints to the management feel on deaf ears, I'm still waiting for a response over 2 weeks later. Also, the rooms were outdated and filthy... And it wasn't just my room. Stayed here in 2011, the hotel was a good price and located at a good central area close to lots of key areas. Staff were very friendly and easy to deal with.
Not to bad the room was very clean, one problem was that in order to see out the window you had to move the table, and in the bathroom there is paint coming of the wall! Other than that nice hotel in m right where everything is.
Great stay!!!! Julie was wonderful ! Amazing bar staff comfy beds and visit the terrace!
Getting real tired of getting stained mattresses Majority of time
I was so disappointed with my experience at this hotel. First the pictures of the room on the website are deceiving. The rooms are small, dingy and in desperate need of updating. The elevators are small and the hallways are downright scary. The lobby is nice, but I didn't sleep in the lobby. All of the above was tolerable, BUT my watch being stolen from my room is pathetic. While I was fortunate enough to get it back after I paid to have it shipped to me, the entire experience left a really bad taste. I will NEVER stay in th... read more
hotel was great and right down town. breakfast on the other hand.... concierge recommended a place that cost me $50 for omelets and pancakes. think it was called Tinas. great hotel stay but find breakfast on your own.
This place was terrible! Agree with other reviews that the rooms are nothing like the pictures on the website. And don't even bother with the rooftop terrace. Looked like it had not been cleaned in over a week, empty beer bottles, garbage, cigarette butts everywhere. Would not recommend this place.
