My husband and I stayed at Middleton Place for our wedding anniversary at the beginning of the month. I definitely recommend it! From the hospitality to the beautiful historical grounds, it was everything we wanted in a romantic getaway. Tip: Book a reservation to the Middleton Restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
Trying to be totally fair and honest. We were more disappointed than we were surprisingly impressed. The cost does not meet the standard. Continental breakfast though laid out very beautifully only included oatmeal ,fruit, yogurt, and muffins. No bagels,toast,waffles etc. The rooms though fairly clean do not have enough plugs for today's electronics. The front desk staff and restaurant people were nice and kind. The people at the markets and ticket centers spent their time complaining in front of us and we're rude. No creame... read more
My second stay. Impossible to describe how beautifully a Swedish modern design nestles into South Carolina.
It was truly wonderful. Great to be out of the mainstream. I would highly recommend it.
