Our room wasn't ready on time, so we made our way around the gardens. The views of the river and gardens took you back to a time when everything was simple and people took the time to enjoy nature's beauty and being outside. When people enjoyed each others company without all of the distractions of today's world. If you want to relax and remember what quiet sounds like come and stay @ The Inn at Middleton Place.
This was better than we expected peaceful interesting there is something to see everywhere you look and stroll how we hope we can come back some day
Where we go- close enough to Charleston for dining and playing; far enough to be peaceful and serene.

Phenomenal place for a romantic weekend or just a getaway with friends. Charleston is close but staying in the country was the right way to go. This property is so gorgeous and guests are allowed and encouraged to enjoy the whole place. I will definitely visit again!
