Great place short walk to Fabulous Gardens and old rice Plantation would visit again or do a retreat there
Hidden gem, so special in every way.....we loved out stay here and hope to return!
We stayed here July 5 - July 9. Loved every minute of it. Front Desk was very helpful. Loved how "out of the way" it is. Unbelievable scenery. Room was great. Pool was great. Loved The Lodge reception every night. The complimentary breakfast was good but, the hot breakfast was awesome. Walk from Inn to Middleton Place was astounding. The restaurant was "out of this world"!!! Loved the walking, guided tours.
This place is amazing. Will plan to come back soon.
Everything was great.... except the 4 palmetto bugs all over the floor, and numerous dead spiders hanging in the windows. Kind of put a damper on the beautiful views...

Your experience here is largely dependent on the weather because the hotel rooms are accessible only from the outdoors. On the first day it was pouring rain and we got drenched trying to get to our room even with an umbrella in hand. The next two days were much drier, but very, very humid so lots of sweating. The breakfast service is limited to continental style unless you pay extra, but is still nice. The rooms are quaint, feel a bit dated, but are nice.
