Saw four alligators on an evening stroll
A stunning place in the middle of Middleton place park. The atmosphere alone is worth staying here but also the rooms are spacious and well equipped. A real gem!
peaceful and relaxing. Great
There is nothing else like it. Romantic and quiet yet close to so much.
The atmosphere of the rooms and grounds makes one want to relax, read a good book, and just visit. There is no need for your phone, because the desire to disconnect and relax is part of the draw.
We were helped by knowledgeable sweet staff; best $160 ever spent! the plantation's modern hotel rooms are charming, clean, and romantic. they have dinner here but due to timing, we needed something quicker so we recommend Italian and Greek restaurant Castillo's in Summerville. don't let the facade deter you. Our group of four has traveled all over the world and we were mesmerized by the mix of historical value, romance, and beauty at Middleton Place in Charleston.
beautiful, quiet, serene. A place to just get away and enjoy those you love without the hurry and stress of every-day life.
You can walk the many trails from just outside your in door. The grounds are stunning with areas to sit and rest and take it all in. Restaurant on site has a bar and fabulous food. The only thing I didn't like was the large outdated old tile tub/shower. It needs serious updating and better cleaning. The water pressure in the shower was awful. Would be nice to have a microwave to reheat leftovers. But I'd still recommend staying at the Inn.
Such a beautiful place, highly recommended!!! Definitely will go there summer time
