Verified Renter This is the most poorly managed apartment complex we have ever lived in. Our apartment was advertised as “newly renovated” but has had a variety of maintenance issues from the first day we moved in (including a toilet with a thick layer of the previous resident’s grime, which Avana apparently thought was okay to leave; mirrors with giant black spots on them; leaking AC; disconnected toilet seat; and other disgusting such things). Worst service and amenities at Avana. I joined two months ago, but they still haven't addressed move-in problems. When we seek an address, they merely state that it is nominal and will take time to address. I am not sure if they will be able to address this during my term. The dryer has been a problem since day one, as has the second bathroom, but they have not addressed the issue for the past 60 days. I requested so many times in the lease office with no luck.

Poor maintenance I have lived in the apartments for 6 months and it’s been a terrible experience. Had things not working from move in day and it took over 3 months for them to fix things. If anything breaks then don’t expect them to fix it

Poor maintenance None of my work orders are fixed for this year. The year itelf completed. Simply closing the work orders without fixing it. No maintenance on amenities like pool, gym, lawn. Better to move out from this community.

Verified Renter Avana Desert view is a good community to live. Only problem I see is the timely resolution of resident' concerns. Improve the greenery and lawn maintenance.

In addition, we have a professional landscaping company on site 5 days a week for the upkeep of the community.
