I went there last night to buy a desk that said on the ikea app, and online it was in stock. When we went to get it, it wasn’t on the shelves. By the time we found someone to help us (30 minutes), he said he’d get it for us and to wait just a minute. After 30 more minutes we saw him again race by and he put up his finger and said just one more minute. An hour goes by, we haven’t seen him. RecommendedEveryone knows it's a great store! But, yesterday I searched for chalk and made several attempts to find. I gave up and while standing in the long line with other items my Daughter buying; a sales person passed by and caught my eye. She asked if I needed help and I told her about not find chalk. She took time to say " I will go and find it! I'll be right back!" Which she did and brought it to me while I was still in the line! Great customer service!!!!
I like the new store, more shopper friendly if you don’t have a disability! Food is still gross! But I love the comforters and the price!
While the store is a wonder and the restaurant is great. Handicapped people without their own scooters should not visit the store. They say they have wheelchairs but I never saw one. The store is like a maze and short cuts are not that short. I received a free frozen yogurt cone with purchase of another as a welcome to my ikea family membership . At the old store they had the scooters.
Whoever helps us didn’t do a good job because he told us that he would reserve our items and he gave us the order number. Then today I called the store and asked about my order for delivery and they said they couldn’t find my order even though I got an order numbers. So everything we spent inside the store effort and time was wasted our time!
Love the new Renton IKEA! Looks exactly like the one in Charlotte NC that I used to go to when I lived there! So much parking now! I would avoid going to the old one because it was too crowded and the parking was horrible!
Newly remodeled but layout is as confusing as the original. Signs are pretty bad, especially if one does not have a sense of direction.
