At IKEA in Columbus, Ohio and I was assaulted by a man after asking his wife or girlfriend to put her mask on. She walked through a couple rooms and came close very to me twice, so I asked kindly for her to put her mask on which is a State Law now for Franklin County. IKEA charged me $200 for delivery plus the cost of my furniture and did NOT deliver my items. I’ve been calling and emailing for a week now and there is no one answering customer service inquiries. I get an automated prompt and then Get hung up on. IKEA has basically stolen my money and has not delivered my goods. I’m really at a loss for how to proceed since I can’t get through to anyone. IKEA management doesn’t protect its customers from assault during the pandemic. I am glad I have and never will buy something from them
My first and last shopping experience with IKEA. Terrible customer communication and service. Will never do business with IKEA again. I have gotten nothing but a run around regarding an item I purchased a month ago. Once I was able to actually go thru to a human on their 888 number I was bounced around from department to department and no one seemed to want to take ownership of my issue. I have learned my lesson the hard way. Cheap goods means poor customer service.
