Ikea, the store, is just fine. However, the delivery company they use, Dynamex, is awful. Spent $90 to get delivery on Tuesday because trying to fit an entire kitchen worth of cabinets in a pickup truck wasn't going to happen. Tuesday's four-door delivery window came and went and after 45 minutes of hold music, someone finally talked to me and said the order was never picked up, despite their website saying it was picked up and should be there by 7 that day. We were out-and-about on Sunday July 3rd. If we had seen the checkout lines on the way in we would have fled. We needed 3 item. A potty trainer to match the other one we have, a handful of plastic shower liners and a USB charger. It took us 45 minutes to get through the line. They even closed a lane. It was the worst of the worst. My wife was ready to cut and run, but I reminded her that it would take longer to leave and come back later. IKEA, you need to make realistic staffing decisions. @IKEAUSA So far my kitchen delivery has been cancelled 3 times. It was even lost at one point.. .don't ask me how you lose an entire kitchen. The last time I didn't even receive a call to say they wouldn't be able to make the delivery, just an email in the middle of the night that I didn't receive until I'd already left work and was waiting at my house. I've had to take time off of work, spend hours on the phone, reschedule work (2 weeks late now, if it even shows up this time) and ikea doesn't seem concerned. $150 store cre... read more

My wife and I purchased a new bed for our two year old and paid for home delivery. We were given a delivery time between 6-9pm, so we took apart our sons crib. Well 9pm came and went without our delivery or even a phone call. My wife called the delivery company, and spoke with someone who couldn't answer any of or questions, but said they'd follow up with a phone call or email the next morning.
