RecommendedPlease be advised! IKEA has extremely long lines outside, lines wrapped around the building. This all in the extreme heat with no shade provided. If you plan on going in the near future please bring water, an umbrella for shade and maybe even a chair. After watching 3 people pass out from the heat , IKEA is it possible that you could use a text or call system instead of having people wait this long outside in a crowded line. RecommendedDear IKEA Red Hook, Stop doing business with XPO Logistics (3rd party delivery service). This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. First delivery never showed up due to “truck issues”. This is after waiting 12 hours for the delivery and calling their dispatch numerous times. They then rescheduled the delivery to occur the next day and the dispatcher assured me I was the 2nd stop of the day which would occur around 10am. Nope, it’s now 5pm and no sign of the delivery. ZERO ways to contact customer service right now even though stores are open and delivering. Delivery damaged, and no way to make it right?! We paid $50 to have it delivered so we wouldn't have to bring our kids into the store during covid. When we call, we are told on your national line that you not receiving any calls or messages. When we email we are told no emails are being answered. Shame on you Ikea for not allowing phone calls OR emails to help your loyal customers. Good luck with this strategy.
