I believe that I have been a victim of Fraud. The representative, ***********************, came to my door. He said that the utility rates were going to go up around December. I told him that my son owned the home and my son's name is on the utility bills. I have no authority to change anything. It would all have to be up to my son. He said he would just take down our information to make it easier and faster if my son agreed. I just had a guy come to my house who told me he worked for Columbia Gas and ****** (my current gas/electric provider) and that my rates were going to go up and that he was just here to "get my account updated" and "consolidate payments" and "get me locked in to the lowest possible rate." He asked for my phone number and email account - no big deal. But after talking for a couple more minutes and asking him a few more questions it became apparent he didn't work for either company. This company must have a manual teaching their employees how to harass, bully, and manipulate.Three years ago they began showing up on my doorstep, repeatedly. Being told we weren't interested didn't stop them from coming back. Locking in rates sounded decent, and I didn't know what I was doing, so I agreed and signed the contract. I didn't end up going with igs solar but even without being a customer they answered all my questions, and didn't try to lie or manipulate the contract. I have to say that's awesome and very rare.

They are without a doubt a fraudulent company, dishonest and a complete rip-off! When we agreed to their coverage, went over all, they stated the coverage on appliances, hvac, including both heating and air. We had an issue with the air conditioning unit on July 14, 2021. They sent out their 3rd party **** company to look at all and the **** rep advised the compressor was bad and the backup coil failed. He said he would report all to IGS for the warranty coverage and it should not be a problem. IGS refused to cover anything ... read more

A sales person came to my door in May 2021. It would have been better had I had more time to look into the company. I am all for becoming less reliant on coal and oil so I signed up.Next thing I knew, in July I owed a $99.00, which I thought was the utility ****. So of course, I wanted to cancel! The very nice lady at customer support explained that though I signed up, my Ohio ****** had cancelled it ahead of me. Why, I dont know. Good Morning,Sorry for the confusion. It appears another marketer enrolled your account. This enrollment removed IGS after one month of billing, this is why the early cancellation fee was charged. If you return to IGS we will waive the fee.

I got scammed into changing my natural gas supplier from Columbia Gas to IGS. The salesperson wanted to do the same with my electricity supplier. Want to undo the scam and have Columbia Gas returned as my supplier.

We've been with our GS for a couple years and the rates just keep going higher and higher their rate is almost as high as my electric bill which doubles my payments and when we try to say we wanted to cancel them they just kept threatening us will not return calls trying to figure out how to get out of this contract when we try to that catch harassing us on the phone day after day and refused to let us out of a contract unless we paid them more money I think it's b******* they need to let people out of the contract or let us... read more
