I signed up only after I asked a very specific question about something that would be covered under their company. When the representative said "oh yes that is something covered", I proceeded to sign up. Went to make a claim and discovered that it was not covered. Since I was taking the word of the representative, I am now out of luck and without hesitation canceled immediately. Spoke to many managers who were unwilling to make amends in any way. Be very wary! Pressure tactics that are misleading...

Stay AWAY! We currently have them as our supplier & they continue to HARASS us through phone calls & visits to our home. They will call you on different numbers so you don't know it's them, I block the number & they call on a different number. Today we had a man come to our house. We politely told him we did not have time to talk with him. The man kept insisting & kept coming closer to our house. He practically was in our garage & my husband had to finally ask him not so politely to get off our property. This IGS worker kept... read more

No matter how many times the local representative has been told NO and to remove me from his solicitation list, he continues to stop by. After reading the reviews on this site, there is no doubt, I will not do business with IGS. Please add me to you do not call list.

IGS saved me from a non local supplier than was charging me more than twice the average price that IGS uses. The guy took the time and educated me on suppliers and i recommend using this company.

I have been reading through the reviews and I too was duped by this company. I was given an amount that I would pay monthly if I "switched." "All my neighbors/neighborhood are switching over." I have been checking my bills and I am paying almost the exact amount of my illuminating company, which means I am paying double. I want any cancellation fees waived NOW.

RIP off. Salesman came to door and said one thing and CDC they charged higher rate. My Bill's are outrageous since got their service. Try talking to them and it's a runaround. To cancel they'll charge a fee of $99.00. Said contract until 2022. This company is really terrible doing business.

Richie H*** knocks on my door, ignoring my no soliciting of any kind sign, wakes me up and talks me into transferring gas and electric service, which I eventually did. As he was driving down my street I came to my senses and called his cell and told him I changed my mind. He kept saying "But you switched, you signed". Finally I asked for the name and number of his supervisor, then he agreed to cancel my order. Got a letter from IGS 3 days later congratulating my on my new order. I signed up for the home warranty and was told it would cover my air conditioner to replace or fix it. I have a witness who was there that day and hear what I was told. Today I called and they informed me that I only have coverage for the wiring not the units. I was LIED to. I needed to have the air conditioner fixed because I am on oxygen and have COPD (I never smoked). So I was extremely aggravated to find out that my air conditioner will not be looked at. i requested to have account removed and received letter that the termination fee was waived and then two months later I receive a letter saying that I had an outstanding balance which was the termination fee, and they still have my gas account which I had requested to be removed. This company is a scam, they came and told me statewise was a scam but they weren't I had statewise for over a year and never had a problem
