Yummy food, lots of fun – The food at Icon Grill is so yummy. The chef has managed to put a unique twist on what can typically be boring, bland comfort food...but not at the Icon Grill! The service is always great (ask for Nikki) and we are always seated promptly. The atmosphere is fun and the restaurant is located in the heart of downtown. Be sure to make reservations because if you want until the last minute, you might not get in until very early or very late.
Most Amazing Restaurant in Seattle! – WOW! I recently visited Seattle for the first time and was blown away by this fun, cozy, hip little restaurant. It just completed my trip. The yellowfin tuna is just heavenly and the ultimate mac n cheese...to die for! Also, they have a great lounge where you can go have happy hour and hang out with your friends. Our waiter was so nice and even gave us tips on where we should go while in Seattle. I recommend this restaurant to locals, but especially to tourists!
9.2?! I don;t think so – We came there to celebrate my friends wedding. The service was awful. Waitress was nice and smiling but that was the only advantage. When some more of our friends came she said she hopes nobody else would come since they don't have any more seats. Dishes were small and my stake was obviously overcooked even I asked medium-rare. What a Fun Place! – Had dinner at the Icon last night. Drinks and appetizer in the bar with lots of laughing fun people. The bar's informality makes it easy to chat with people you don't know. We moved into the dining room for dinner and everywhere you looked there were eclectic items. Blown glass butts up against an antique lamp. The place is a hoot. Food is terrific. THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – A group of 10 people went out for a friend's birthday and were HORRIBLY disappointed in the service at this restaurant. The server brought out all of our food except one person's - he then explained that he had keyed in the wrong thing and it would take another 20 minutes to make it. At this point he didn't apologize, offer to take it off the bill - he just said he would take half price off the meal if she still wanted it- HOW TACKY! Fabulous and Fun! – From it's trendy "Sex and the City"-esque decor to its downhome good eats, this is one great place for a dining experience. You can wear jeans or you can be dressed to the nines - either way, you'll feel at home! This restaurant has something for everyone. The food is great, service is awesome, and the ambiance is fun, fresh, and inviting. Go enjoy! And don't forget to order the ice cream sundae for dessert - it is unforgetable!
Seattle Landmark – whatever the occassion,THE ICON GRILL will leave a great lasting impression! The interior is quite ecclectic and remarkable,. The menu offers a unique variety of wonderful dishes which reflect creative genius in the ingredients,style,presentation and taste. the servers at the Icon are attentive and perform with the energy of someone who truly enjoys what they do. Cool place, great food – After reading reviews here, I guess I expected some dark tavern full of junk - Wow what a surprise. This is a very cool place, neat decor with blown glass chandeliers, 116 different lampshades, oddball mirrors, etc. The TV's in the bathroom displaying a continuous loop of goofy videos of swirling water are hilarious - there's a definite sense of humor in this place. Happy Hour – Starting at 4pm, happy hour has great prices on drinks and food. But DON'T ORDER THE CHICKEN STRIPS!!! They cook them until they are completely devoid of any juices or taste. I sent mine back, thinking they were burned (the thin coat of flour on them is very dark and bitter). I got them back the same way.
