Yummy! – I have a new favorite restaurant in Seattle! Had dinner there tonight and it was wonderful -- attentive service (a Seattle rarity) and delicious food. The squash soup and pork chop were both soooo good. High quality ingredients prepared with care. The ice cream sundae for dessert was fantastic -- I'll be dreaming of it for nights to come! Now I'll have to go back to sample the mac and cheese....

Desirable, but not Irresistible – I had been to the Icon numerous times for lunch when I worked in Belltown. I loved the funky decor and the Ultimate Macaroni!! I thought that this would be a good place for our group of 10 to go for dinner because the atmosphere is captivating, unfortunately I had only tried the salads and the macaroni. We were terribly disappointed in over breaded, over cooked calamari, the soups were bland and anything that was fried, lost its taste to the over-used grease. The grilled items were a better ... read more

Good if You Know What to Order – I have always thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at Icon. I find the atmosphere very comfortable (pink without being too feminine), the service extremely attentive and often funny (if a little slow), and the food usually delicious--as long as you stick to the standards, like the Icon Burger or the Macaroni & Cheese. I know, it seemed ridiculous at first to me too to pay $10 for mac 'n cheese...but then I tried it. The little pitcher of extra cheese sauce and the "tomato snow" push it out... read more

Really? You like this place? – I expected to love Icon Grill. Everyone from restaurant critics to my colleagues rave about the meatloaf, so I had looked forward to trying it for months. But instead of the comfort food bliss I had hoped for, I got a lump of low grade beef (full of gristle and bone fragments) wrapped in raw-ish bacon served along side mushy broccoli and mashed potatoes that I would swear came straight out of a box. My mother would be appalled! Because the menu description was so appealing, we also tried the Te... read more

Fun Atmosphere and Delicious – I love the atmosphere at the Icon Grill, Not only is the Mac and Cheese the best I have ever ordered, they have other delicious entrees to choose from - and the desserts are really fun. I'd recommend it, The only thing to note, it's not a particularly speedy place, so plan extra time if you are on a schedule.

Come, eat, enjoy, and bring your friends – great, simple american comfort food served in an eclectic, original setting that celebrates Northwest Artists like Chiluhly (sp?) and lesser-known locals who created the interesting adornments here. This place has the feel of a local person who was having fun, put their heart into the place, and got some great advice on how to do it. The service staff clearly is also having fun, and lets you in on the joke. Great central location downtown/edge of Belltown, on the way to everything. ... read more

THE BEST! – Icon is the best dining experience I've had in a while. Service was wonderful-I asked for a soy latte and the waiter informed me that they didn't carry soy milk, but minutes later he returned with a soy latte...he had run down the street to a grocery store and bought the soy milk himself! The food is original and tasty and the atmosphere is lively. It's worth a trip just to look around at the decor. Everyone should try this restaurant - I guarantee you'll love it!

A must eat in Seattle – A group of girlfriends chose to eat at the Icon grill before going to see "Hairspray" at the 5th Ave and this place was awesome!!! Our waiter was a crack up and made the night eventful. There menu is has a variety of selections to choose from, there is something for everyone. I went for there famouse Mac and Cheese and it was soooo yummy!!!! But I heard great things about the Copper river Salmon, the Sole and there meatloaf. I don't think you can make a bad selection. And make sure to save room for de... read more
