Overrated – This place is overpriced and the service I've experienced has ranged from indifferent to surly. The food is mediocre, at best.

Great dinner and happy hour – This on of my husband and I's favorite places to go. For dinner the prices are pretty reasonable. The food is great. It mostly has comfort foods, but if you like seared tuna this is the place to go! The meatloaf also rocks. The best is if you are around for happy hour. Half priced drinks AND half price food. If you dont get a drink the price is like going to mcdonalds.

Great Atmosphere! – We just went to Icon Grill for the first time this weekend. The atmosphere was excellent, hard to beat. It was quiet (a Sunday night). He had the meatloaf and I had the fried chicken. The dark meat chicken was great, but the breast was so dry I couldn't even eat it. He loved his meatloaf and said it was the best he'd ever had. We will go back here, I just won't get the fried chicken. You can't beat the atmosphere.

A true Seattle ICON – If you live in Seattle or are just visiting, this is a must-dine experience! FOOD: Take your favorite comfort food, throw in a dash of Southern flair, a heaping pile of Seattle panache, and all Northwest ingredients and you've got the Icon Grill. One of my favorite entrees (that's not a permanent resident of the menu) is their Peppercorn Flat Iron Steak w/ Roquefort Cheese Sauce. This flavor explosion of a hunk of meat is served over a bed of horseradish potato cakes. Another classic that's always aroun... read more

Kind of smelly. Great location. Staff is into themselves. – The second time I went to Icon I had hoped for a better experience. The bar staff (where I ate dinner) was too engrossed in their own conversation among themselves and with their regulars. Their regulars I suspect were more their friends than customers. Parking is a virtual impossibility; I doubt I will go back. The food did not warrant their prices at all; I suspect they are just covering overhead. After reading some of the reviews, I was shocked that some people l... read more

Good ambiance, poor service, average food – Made an online reservation for 4 people at 8pm. Got there early in hopes we could get in early. No chance because it was Saturday night, oh well. A friend brought an additional friend who I had not planned on. They bumped us to a larger table for five without problem or much of a delay. The staff in the front are nice and accommodating. The waiter was older (about 50) had horrible service. It took at least 10 minutes before he took our drink/appetizer order. And another 10 minutes ... read more

Some of the Best Food in the City!!!!!!!! – I travel to Seattle alot for business. I have been to a lot of restaurants in town. The best part about icon is that it is not just a restaurant it is a dining experience. I love their wine list, their ever changing menu and their great service. I have noticed some bad reviews...but I have been there so many times and I have no idea what they are talking about... I love it!!!!! Try the Zephyrtini, the BBQ chicken Pizza and their pastas...they are great!!!

Never Ever Go Here! Ever! Hideous Food and Horrid Service! Go to Daily Grill Instead!!! – I'd been here a couple times & only ate in the bar. Truth be told, the service was always slow. But this time, the service was downright awful. It was my mom's birthday. I figured I'd try the restaurant. They sat us upstairs, at the "extra special" table, or so the hostess called it. Extra special was right. We enjoyed the lovely odor of the bathroom freshener & watched everyone come up & down to the restroom. I made a comment to the wa... read more
