Located in the heart of downtown, this is one of the city's posh destinations for those either on business or on leisure, with a bottomless wallet. But with the price comes typical Hyatt luxuries. The hotel is well connected to Minneapolis's skyways that allow one to traverse downtown without ever having to venture outside. It is close to everything including the convention center and the famous Guthrie Theater. Many of the rooms, especially on the upper floors, offer excellent views of the surrounding region.

Was not overly impressed with this hotel. There was construction going on and no access to guest room side from the ballroom side. Also extremely slow elevators due to the volume of people staying there for various events and no option to take stairs. No microwaves in room and had to ask for housekeeping one day. Also no free shuttle service to the airport; unusual for a hotel of this size located in the heart of downtown.
Ther for Dance convention. Nice convention rooms and over all center, however the layout of the hotel compared to convention area is all backwards. The fifth floor is 500's and 5,000's room numbers. Obviously they added on so our 5100 room was down a maze of a hallway wayyy wayyy of the trial. Room very small and dated. The fridge is behind a cabinet and doesn't vent out the heat from the motor. Very clean, modern. Great conference I just attended.
Food was horrible and the valet guy was not nice. Although, I had the most comfortable bed ever! Great sleep and front desk people were great.
First class all the way! The service here is excellent. The Hyatt is a great go to spot!
We rented 3 rooms. Check in was supposed to be 3pm. 1 1/2 to 2 hours later we FINALLY got into the rooms that the families with kids were staying in and then we had to feed them. Disappointed kids because we planned on letting them swim before eating but due to late check in, they had to wait until after they ate so they didn't get as much time as they wanted. Very clean, professional staff, great food, huge fitness center and pleasant guess.
I stayed at this hotel back in March 2015 the room was very nice looking you guys have a very nice hotel next time I come back to Minneapolis if I'm looking for a hotel to stay I will come back to this hotel to stay.
