Located in the heart of downtown, this is one of the city's posh destinations for those either on business or on leisure, with a bottomless wallet. But with the price comes typical Hyatt luxuries. The hotel is well connected to Minneapolis's skyways that allow one to traverse downtown without ever having to venture outside. It is close to everything including the convention center and the famous Guthrie Theater. Many of the rooms, especially on the upper floors, offer excellent views of the surrounding region.

Happy pride
No coffee pot in room. No fridge. No control on temperature beyond a certain range.couldn't sleep because it was too warm. Lumpy bed. You pay extra to park when you stay overnights?!?! No continental breakfast because they want you to buy their $17 buffet. Nice room. But you get very little for what you are paying. Excuse any typos please - haven't gotten any coffee yet.

We stayed here for 3 days for our first wedding anniversary in November 2013, the room was lovely with a good view. Everything was close by like restaurants, coffee shops, salons. There are many good places for shopping as well nearby. You can take a walk in the downtown area or get a cab if you want to go far. The best part is the skywalk especially in winter. The Nicollet mall area is the best place to stay if you are on a short vacation like us.
I couldn't have asked for a better hotel to stay at. Great location! They have everything you need at the hotel, if you ever forget to pack anything. The room attendants will come and provide anything you want and are happy to clean your room whether you are still in it or not. What a luxurious place! The fitness area was mind-blowing as well! I would love to stay here again!!!
Great rooms, great service and the price is not bad for the location!
I have been to several hotels within the last couple months and this one absolutely sucked the money out of you. Not only that but I have been to much smaller, 'lower quality' hotels that offer more than this hotel did. I have never, ever heard of a hotel charging for a refrigerator. And guys, McDonalds even offers free wifi, but not here. You have to pay $12/day. We checked out early and they still charged us for the night! Great place to stay, very upscale facility AND customer service was top notch! Conference facilities were fantastic & close to the rooms!
