Located in the heart of downtown, this is one of the city's posh destinations for those either on business or on leisure, with a bottomless wallet. But with the price comes typical Hyatt luxuries. The hotel is well connected to Minneapolis's skyways that allow one to traverse downtown without ever having to venture outside. It is close to everything including the convention center and the famous Guthrie Theater. Many of the rooms, especially on the upper floors, offer excellent views of the surrounding region.

The hotel and convention center were both very nice and well-maintained. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and were able to help us correct a mixup where we had mistakenly booked one of our 2 rooms to check out a day early. Location is excellent, convenient to lots of restaurants. The first day we didn't even have to take our car out of the parking garage - everything we needed was within walking distance. I make it a point to stay at Hyatt properties whenever possible and this hotel lives up to the Hyatt name! Prompt, professional, and knowledgeable staff along with nice rooms and a beautiful lobby make this one of the best hotels to stay at downtown on Nicollet Mall. I will continue to stay here whenever in the area! Don't forget to grab a bite to eat at the Prairie Kitchen & Bar!
Moldy scum in my shower broken hair dryer and phone but yet they charged almost 300 a nite. Not one person in my group paid this. Manager was rude. So if you ever have to stay in Minneapolis they are not worth your time.

Great! EXCEPT....we found a box of condoms in our bedside stand and when we went down to report it- the manager made a lame excuse about the housekeeping staff leaving them in the room because the box was not opened!! So obviously if I left a million dollars, the housekeeping staff would not touch it and let the next client find it!! I have worked in customer service for 27 years and I have never heard such a lame excuse!!
