The pool staff is amazing. I rented a pool-side cabana for the day. I think it was well worth the spend. The daybed was comfortable and the pool staff kept my water pitcher full all day. When I checked in, the rental desk gave me a run-down of the sun exposure on the each of the cabanas. My server my very attentive and cheery all day, in spite of spending all day running around in the hot sun. At night, we would have a few drinks at the U'malu pool bar, the bartenders were amazing. We just left after 3 nights here. We were in room 1708 snd although it was a nice view, the room was incredibly small and the bathroom was smaller than an airline's bathroom. We enjoyed the grounds and the breakfast brunch was great quality with a lot of selections. The children's pool area was the best and our daughter loved the water slide.
The resort and staff were amazing! We made so many friends on our week long trip. Can't wait for the opportunity to go back soon! The food and hospitality was amazing. 5 stars, thank you so much for the experience! You all made these Texans feel welcome!
We use to love this hotel and would do anything to stay here each year. From the pool, to the staff/service, to the restaurants and rooms, all were 5 stars. Wow has it really gone downhill in the past 2 years. Everything is sooooo overpriced now and just rundown. Kids dinners starting at $17 and drinks at $13. Old dated tattered rooms, over crowded pools with no place to sit, the only coffee place on site sells you $6 Kona coffee with grounds in the bottom. My daughters and I loved our stay here! I would highly recommend it. Such a beautiful location. The staff were amazing..wonderful customer service. The amenities were great. The restaurant Japengo was simply superb. We will definitely be back! Love love loved it
