We come every single year. We have walked through numerous other hotels and resorts and nothing quite compares to this.

The staff was amazing!! The pool area was really overcrowded but I opted for the beach anyways! The biggest downfall was the shops were really overpriced as well as the drinks and food! But overall I loved my stay!

Just arrived yesterday to celebrate my 15th wedding anniversary. This is the first year I got diamond status with Hyatt, was being platinum with SPG for 8 years so thought I will give Hyatt a try. Didn't get an upgrade after front desk called and asked the management , while there were suite still available. Little bummer but other than that the hotel is great so far.

Business response:

Aloha Ms. Yang, Congratulations on becoming a Diamond member! We do value our gold passport members and your loyalty to Hyatt. We do try to accommodate our guests as best as possible and being a Diamond member you get the best available Ocean Front room upon check in . Unfortunately, we did not have any suites for the duration of the 5 night stay that you are here with us. We are excited that you are spending your 15th wedding anniversary and want to make is memorable for you.

For the most part our stay was hiccup free. I didn't like feeling pressure into listening to a pitch for their timeshares, from the first minute we walked down to the pool. It's obnoxious, and uncomfortable to be honest. The only complaint I could make is that the chemicals in the pool made my skin very itchy and dry. And there was a dead rat in the river next to the cascading walkway down to the pool (and it remained there the entire length of our stay, gross). Should try to update the decor and whatnot, a little outdated f... read more

This is one of the best places in Maui... Our experience is nothing but great, not good but great. the hotel is immaculate and the pools are just great. It also doesn't hurt to have the ocean right in front of your window. The breeze of Hawaii is totally incomparable. I have gone to different parts of the world but Hawaii is still one of the best fresh air there is. Although I am on the younger side, I look for party and all that stuff, this place actually made it fun for me. The staff here are extremely nice, kind and above... read more
