When it opened in 1995, Hunter-Gatherer Brewery and Alehouse was the first of its kind in the city and is among the oldest South Carolinian brew pubs. That is because brew-pubs were allowed in the state after a law was passed in 1994. Its rustic-cozy ambiance is accentuated by antique light fixtures, African tribal decorative elements and wooden furnishing. Unique food menu and unmatched ale
Very good lamb chops over lamb and chickpeas ragu. The water was good too
really disrespectful and rude bartender tonight-- ruined it before we even got started. you guys should really do something about that --

I travel all the time and this one of my favorite places for beer and food - both of which are excellent. Also, the food is definitely many steps above “bar food”!
