I moved into Desert Shadows Apartments in 2020. It was a *********** property and they were amazing. My rent was $1050 for a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. It wasn't up to date and had many issues but I couldn't argue because it was $1050 a month for a great location. Year two my rent went up to $1100 but that was fair. I live at ****************** a Greystar Community. I am absolutely disgusted and angry. My bathtub keeps filling with sewage water. It happened once while my BABY was taking a bath! My baby has a life threatening disease called cystic fibrosis (CF) it affects his lungs, pancreas and GI system. **** has repeatedly brushed me off. They had called plumbers but every single one of them has just run the bath water, watch it drain then say, looks fine to me. The worst managed community I have ever lived in. Ownership does a great job on the physical aspect of the community but management is unprofessional, rude, unapproachable, ineffective and a big negative which outweighs the benefits of location and layout.
I ended up homeless and this apartment complex will not give me my money back . They are the ones who were helping me step by step to pay for an apartment and after they knew we were 6 people they said in the beginning I can get a 2 bed room then they said no . To make a long story short they did I would get my application and deposit money back whick was $250+45+45 whick makes $340 this is not ok I have went so many times in person and called left messages even emailed and when someone does answer me they say the same thing... read more

I would like to share my experience with Paseo on University for anyone who is thinking about applying for a residence there. Before applying I looked into the available units that they had and three different representatives confirmed that they had their 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom units available, not just to me, but also to my roommate that was applying as well. I don't even have the words to describe my disgust with the level of service greystar property management offers. We have lived at Overlook Ridge for a few years with no issues until greystar took over a year ago. Ever since greystar took over, it's been one thing after another with the leasing office and their service. The corporate office's lack of response to emails and phone calls shows nothing but gross incompetence. This apartment complex is understaffed and not very responsive, upon numerous voicemails and emails. The office only answers their main line phone sometimes. They will also not give their corporate contact information upon request, to submit a complaint. I only lived here for a couple months and in that time, they gave my parking spot away that I was paying for monthly, the elevators broke every other week and it took days to reconcile and fix, and a skunk got into the elevator, not to mention there is no parking for guests.... read more
Our property manger from Greystar at ************* apartments in ******** **.-Doesnt answer the phone -Doesnt reply to emails -Closes work orders without performing repairs -Doesnt answer the leasing office door during business hours -Does not enforce Greystar property guidelines
I have called and emailed over 20 times!! Not one return call or email!!! I left *********************** in ****************. They still havent returned my security deposit!!! They have terrible reviews and I see why! Do not rent anywhere Greystar is a part of
