I was quoted $1,500 for the move, but once my stuff was on the truck, they suddenly said it would be $2,300 due to unexpected weight. What was I supposed to do? My entire life was in their truck. They wouldn’t deliver it unless I paid the new amount—in cash, of course. After paying, they still took an extra week to deliver. When my furniture finally arrived, my nightstand had a deep boot print on it and my microwave looked like it had been used in a fight. Total scam artists.
