Don't Eat Here Before a Show – A few friends and I purposely had dinner at The Porch before a show so we wouldn't have to rush and wait in line. We were told by the bouncer that after dinner our server would escort us to the music venue as we had our tickets in hand. After finishing dinner, we were then told that we missed the deadline of entering into the venue without waiting in line. The server failed to inform us that the cutoff is 15 minutes prior to the show. I asked to speak with the manager who listened to my valid p... read more

A fun time – I went on 80's night which I thought was a lot of fun. A lot of people just lookin to have a good time and hear some different music besides techno. Drinks not as expensive as other bars. I thought the club was very entertaining and fun.. A good place to start your night!

Not as expected... – While the House of Blues seemed like a good place to go. It really wasn't. I went on a Friday when it was the 80's Flashback night. It wasn't that crowed, which is some times a good thing. But the only people that were there looked liked up tight computer dorks. A bunch of Bill Gates look a likes that follow woman around and torment them! Maybe if the atmopspere wasn't like that it would have been a nice club, because they entertainment they have (so I've heard) and the set up is really nice.

go on sunday nites! – Most clubs aren't going on sundays even if its a long weekend. Go to HOB, you'll wait in line but it's crowded and fun. Plays everything from trance, hiphop, salsa, 80's, something for everyone. $20 to get in, standard price nowadays. Pretty good looking crowd. Get there early!

Groovy – It has such a down-home feel, you can't help but enjoy yourself.

Great food, service, gift shop – This place is such a neat place to just go and eat, you don't even have to go for the entertainment. They have the best red-beans and rice. It is just a really great attitude around the whole place. The gift shop has some really cool stuff in there. If you do have to wait, go through the gift shop, it will take up alot of time. But it is a place to return!!!

Love it – I have always loved this place. The food is great but even more so, this is their best club in the U.S. It's a great environment and always has a lot of good stuff going on. We'd go here more often if it were easier to get in.

Horrible Parking at HOB – This is regarding the Parking only! Parking at the House of Blues is horrendous. On two different occasions, I was kept waiting 3+ hours to get my car. Valet parking attendants are rude...they're only polite to the "rich and famous"!

Blues, rock, hip hop, you name it – Always a good spot to check out your favorite bands and music acts. The sound quality and venue are excellent, not to mention almost every seat (or place to stand) in the house is a good one.
